ABOUT US

The Great Central [Gallery & Studios] is an artist run project providing affordable artist production space as well as a Gallery with a programme of curated group and solo exhibitions by national and international artists. During the period between exhibitions selected artists at the start of their careers will be offered the opportunity to use the gallery as an experimental project space.

The people behind The Great Central:
Eric Rosoman - Freelance Curator of the 'Offsite' programme and Acting Exhibitions Coordinator at The City Gallery, Leicester. Coordinator of 'International Artist Fellowship – Leicester' for LCB Depot/The City Gallery. Artist with recent exhibitions including ‘Paraísos Indómitos/Untamed Paradises’ at MARCO, Museum of Contemporary Art Vigo & CAAC, Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo in Sevilla, Spain; 'Parade' at Angel Row Galley, Nottingham; ‘The Oblittes of Wolstenstone’, Liverpool. Previously worked at a number of Commercial and Public Galleries in London and as an Artist Assistant.

Steve Lynch - Freelance Photographer and Technician at The City Gallery. Artist with previous exhibitions at Phoenix Arts, Nottingham Open and previous winner of The City Gallery Open prize.
